He was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Asia Pacific operations of the world’s largest public relations firm, was a member of the board of directors and the five-person executive committee of the New York-based company. In 1992 John established John Connolly & Partners an independent public relations and government affairs firm. Headquartered in Sydney with offices in Melbourne, they serve clients in Australia, Asia, Europe and North America. Over 30 years the firm has built an international reputation for successfully handling difficult and sensitive issues for large corporations.
